Therapy for Anxiety— Come back to your body
You’re Not Broken—Your Body is Trying to Protect You
Anxiety can feel like being stuck in your head, constantly worrying about the future or overanalyzing the past. It can show up as racing thoughts, muscle tension, shallow breath, frequent headaches or stomach aches, trouble sleeping, or a constant sense that something’s not quite right—even when things seem fine on the outside.
Anxiety often comes from a nervous system that’s working overtime to keep you safe. With compassion and curiosity, we’ll begin to understand these protective patterns—and invite more choice, calm, and connection into your life.
Whether you're experiencing panic attacks, social anxiety, general worry, or that vague sense of unease that’s hard to name, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
My Approach: Mindfulness-Based & Somatic Therapy
As a mindfulness-based and somatic therapist, I help you slow down and listen to what your body is telling you. Anxiety isn’t just in the mind—it’s in the body, too. That’s why talk therapy alone often isn’t enough.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps you develop awareness of your thoughts and emotions without becoming overwhelmed by them. You'll learn to respond to anxiety, rather than react to it.
Somatic Therapy guides you to notice physical sensations and patterns in your body that may be linked to anxiety. With gentle, guided practices, we work to release stored tension and bring your nervous system back into regulation.
In Our Work Together
You'll learn to identify early signs of anxiety and work with them, rather than against them.
We'll explore how anxiety shows up in your body and your life and create space for it to shift.
You'll build tools for self-regulation, grounding, and emotional resilience.
And most importantly, you'll reconnect with your inner sense of safety and ease.
